Home / Courses Offered / Driver Improvement Program

The Driver Improvement Program is an MVA required course for those drivers who have a total 8+ points on their driving record and, or those drivers with a Provisional License who are convicted of a moving violation.

It is a four (4) hour program given on Saturdays at 9:00 AM through 1:00 PM. During the DIP program the clients will review the legal and safety issues that may be the cause of violations or crashes. In class there are usually lively in depth discussions of the problems that are the cause for needing these programs. Perry Hall Driving School, Inc. will promptly notify the MVA of a client’s completion. This course is frequently accepted by other states. There is also an option of taking the Driver Improvement Program course online. This option does not require in-class time, essentially an online course. You can access this page by clicking the Online Driver Improvement Program link on the left navigational bar. The test is given at the school once completed. Call and schedule the test and the school will collect $65.00 cash or money order at the time of testing.
